Seasonal Home Decor –

Do you seasonally decorate your home?

Before, I didn't see the point of seasonal decor but now I enjoy doing it.

I know some people will argue about the materialistic aspect of seasonal decor. We indeed need to be aware of this modern idolatry, and must keep our heart in check at all times.

As a homemaker, I started to see how decorating my house can have deeper meaning and can help me and my family to keep pondering on who God is. It also has become part of my hospitality –a small part of my witness to others I welcomed in my home.

For me, home decor is not about spending but it is about stewarding well. Utilising what I already have, being creative with it, making my own decor, thrift, and many other ways.

Changing Season –

As the season changes, and as we enter a new year with its uncertainty, I want to continue reminding myself, my family and friends of the ONE who is unchanging and is in control. 

Our time in this city is coming to an end and we are seeking the Lord for our next steps.

Yes, we are moving again in the near future. Still not sure where to go and what God wants us to do

Kinda sad thinking I will say another goodbye to ones I have called dearest friends.

But a chapter should be closed to start a new one, and I know the Lord will continue His keeping and guiding. I look forward to see where He will take us this time.

Will we stay here in UK or back to USA?
