Moving day is soon approaching. We will be moving from a four bedrooms house to a small flat in a little town. I have been downsizing and somehow it gets me excited to be living in a smaller place.
I love hosting and fellowshipping at home, and used to think living in a big house will be best. But I've learned my lesson and convinced that hospitality doesn't depend on house sizes.
Blessing of friends
In between packing and life in general, Andrew and I went for a trip visiting a friend in Rugby. I am thankful for the Lord's grace in providing like-minded brothers and sisters. We only got to know them for a year but it feels like finding family as we share burden for Christ's church in this land. It was a refreshing and encouraging time with them. They took us to see lambs in farms.
Last hosting at home
The house has been so cluttered, boxes are everywhere in each room. Luna seems aware that we are moving soon. My husband and I are looking forward to move, to close our chapter here, and are looking forward to what God has for us next.
I will have just one more time hosting in this house before we leave –just a day before all our furniture will be collected by British Heart Foundation. Yes, I have arranged furniture collections, van hiring, house cleaning and garden tidy up.
Unemployement
We will be unemployed. As a single income family, we will have no income coming in for a few months. We are waiting to hear from The Master Seminary in California, and in the meantime we will take some times to rest and to work on our Biblical Counselling certifications. They are some conferences we look forward to attend too, and we also have some plans to meet-up with friends.
